Day 1
2:00 pm Arrive to retreat location from Puyo by 3:00pm, preferably earlier (Distance Puyo to community = 45 minutes-1 hour)
4:00 pm Welcome ceremony by indigenous community involving traditional dance
5:00 pm Light meal
6:00 pm Rest prior to Ayahuasca ceremony
8:00 pm Ayahuasca ceremony
Day 2
10:00 am Breakfast
11:00 am Hike through the forest to the Secret Waterfall while experiencing other Amazonian plants of power.
2:00 pm Healing therapy at waterfall
4:00 pm Light meal
5-8:00 pm Rest prior to Ayahuasca ceremony
8:00 pm Ayahuasca ceremony
Day 3
10:00 Breakfast
11:00 Hike or traditional canoe ride down Puyo River (if everyone is up for it!)
2:00 Traditional Kichwa meal (maito de pescado)
4:00 pm Healing ritual using song, Mambe and ambil (power plant medicine)
5-8:00 pm Rest prior to Ayahuasca ceremony
8:00 pm Ayahuasca ceremony
Day 4
10:00 Breakfast
11:00 Visit to local artesanal store
12:00 Thankfulness ritual, cleansings and closing
1:00 – 2:00 drive to Puyo for lunch
3:00 – 4:00 Lunch in Puyo, opportunity to try local delicacies like chontacurro (beetle larvae). Note: this meal is not included in retreat cost.
4:00 Drop off at Puyo bust terminal
