General Information about our mushroom ceremony near Quito, Ecuador
We organize regular psilocybin mushroom ceremonies near Quito. These can be in groups (min. 3 people) or private, but note that the price increases if private.
These are day time ceremonies that include nature walks. We begin in our ceremony space in Pintag, about 1 hour from Quito. Weather permitting, we then ride to a nearby National Park where we will experience mushrooms in the Andes páramo (high altitude grasslands). After a couple of hours, we return to the ceremony space to share some more, close and eat a light meal to ground.
Spanish to English interpretation is available. Group sizes are from 3 – 7 people, not including facilitators.
This ceremony is an inclusive and safe space led by a female ceremony guide. Solo female travelers are encouraged to join, as well as people that identify as queer or LGBTQ+.
The ceremony guide has extensive experience serving medicines of various types (see her bio below) – it is truly a special opportunity to participate in this ceremony with her!
In consuming the sacred and healing medicine of the mushroom, you are invited to attain greater introspection about yourself, your emotions, repeated patterns, traumas, and decisions you might be facing.
The ceremony consists of only a 1 day psilocybin mushroom ceremony / experience.
Please see the schedule below.

Ceremony Guide - Paulina
Paulina is an Ecuadorian medicine woman dedicated to supporting others in their healing journey. She has worked with traditional and ancestral medicines for more than 15 years, including ayahuasca, aguacolla (San Pedro), peyote and mushrooms.
After living with the indigenous Shuar community of the Amazon, their elders gave her the blessing to continue her work as a curandera. She has also shared with and learned from the Shipibo in Peru and the Piaroa in Venezuela, among other indigenous peoples.
Paulina hosts regular women’s retreats in Ecuador and Mexico where ancestral rituals and medicines are used to facilitate deep personal work and transformation. She is the Founder of an international women’s collective, Mujeres de Luna, and is also a trained Gestalt therapist.
Finally, she is a leader of the Sacred Fire of Itzachilatlan, a sun dancer, vision quester, and recipient of the Chakana altar, Andean table, and Heart of the Carnation altar from the Andean elders.
The ceremony guide is usually accompanied by 1 or 2 ceremony assistants, depending on ceremony group size.

What to expect from the group mushroom ceremony / what not to expect
This mushroom ceremony is a very authentic space and group, mixing both Ecuadorians and residents than foreigners.
Ceremonies begin in a ceremony space about an hour outside of Quito. We then drive to a nearby national park for a walk / light hike in nature. After about 4 hours here, we return to the ceremony space to close, share together and have a bite to eat before returning home.
Since Quito is in the Andes, the temperature drops significantly at night. Be prepared and take warm clothes. This is also why ceremonies may take place inside, where it’s warmer.
Expect simplicity, honesty and a home environment where everything is done with loving intention.
What to expect from the private mushroom ceremony / therapy session
This is essentially an 8 hour long individual mushroom therapy session with Paulina and one assistant. We use the term “dynamic” therapy session becuase part of the session involves an outing to Antisana National Park where we spend time in nature.
During this time in nature, you begin to feel the medicine of the mushrooms and talk to Paulina about the things that start coming up. Upon returning back to the ceremony space in Pintag, these can be expanded upon in a more intimate environment.
