I cannot really express in words how profound my experience was with the women from Alma Healing Center. The rigorous training that they have gone through to get the blessing of the indigenous family is inspiring. They are very well trained and connected to the plants they serve. They are kind, intuitive and AMAZING musicians! I am from the United States and my Spanish is not great. That was not a problem at all as there are people available to translate. I always felt welcome in the presence of these women and highly recommend the Alma Healing Center to anyone looking for a safe, supportive and transformative healing experience.

If you're looking for a trustworthy place to try plant medicines, like ayahuasca, wachuma, psilocybin mushroom etc definitely get in touch with Alma Healing Center. They organize different ayahuasca retreats near Quito and around Ecuador and work with a handful of healers that are intuitive, sensitive and trustworthy. I really appreciate that it is woman-led and many of the healers they work with are also women, as well as therapists, which is important before/during/after having a psychedelic experience. Their ceremonies have beautiful music and a very loving tone, ideal for people just beginning their journey in the world of ceremony, healing and plants.

Our group had a sweet and gentle introduction to Ahuyasca shamanic rituals. We always felt safe and the retreat center was beautiful and comfortable with lovely vegan meals. The pools are especially healing. We truly enjoyed the beautiful voices of Paulina, Sandra and Diego during our evening rituals. The temezcal sweat lodge the following day was especially meaningful for me.
